The 132nd winner of the St Leger, held on Wednesday 11th September 1907 over the Old St Leger course on Town Moor, was Wool Winder, a bay colt by Martagon out of St Windeline, owned by Colonel Edward W Baird. A field of 12 runners contested the race which was worth £4,625. (Equivalent to £518,000 in 2017)
